{B Family} Logan Family Portraits

 This cute family are friends of my parents.  I've heard a lot about them from my parents, so I was really excited to meet them finally!  The kids were so easy to work with, and did great despite the cold!  I'm excited to shoot the family's sealing coming up here in a bit.  I've always wanted to shoot a family sealing, so I'm really looking forward to it!

{Tyson & McKayla} Logan Engagement Session

Tyson and McKayla were so great to work with today, especially since we had over 40 degree weather and sunny skies!  When Tyson called, I was excited to have the chance to take their pictures since Tyson and I went to high school together.  He got a real catch in McKayla!  She's one of those people you can tell is beautiful inside and out as soon as you meet her.  They are such a sweet couple - one of those couples that anyone can tell are truly in love.  I love photographing couples like them.  Their love and adoration for each other really shows in their pictures.  Congrats on your engagement you two!

 

{Andrew & Ashley} Salt Lake Temple Wedding

Andrew and Ashley had a simply beautiful winter wedding.  I loved the classy, traditional style that they chose for their day.  It really seemed to fit them perfect.  The venue where the reception was held was simply breathtaking.  It was so vintage and adorable, I just absolutely fell in love with it!  I really had a great day with these two and their families.  Ashley's family and I go way back to my Ohio roots.  We went to church together, and Ashley and I were close friends.  Her family was one of the families that were really there to support my family as we struggled through my dad's sickness.  It truly was wonderful to see all of them again and catch up.  And it sounds like we'll get to see each other again soon when Ashley's cousin marries my husband's cousin in a few months.  Small world!

Congrats again, Ashley and Andrew.  I'm so happy for you!

{Colin & Rachel} Hyde Park Reception

This was a fun reception at the beautiful new Castle Manor reception venue in Hyde Park.  I have to say, Colin and Rachel's "feeding of the cake" sequence is one of my favorites.  Check out the look on Colin's face right before they feed cake to each other.... It was pretty obvious what was about to come!  So fun to photograph, but even more fun to actually witness!  Congrats again, you two!

{Colin & Rachel} Logan Utah Wedding

Colin & Rachel were married on a rather cold day in December.  They didn't let it ruin their perfect day though!  I loved working with these two.  Rachel has some of the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen, and Colin wore some great custom ordered converse shoes that matched the colors down to the teal piping and purple accents.  Colin and I go back to when I was about 14.  His mom was one of my church leaders and we've been family friends since so it was great to see everyone and share this day with them.
